Acoustic Guitar 84: Amur Velvet Tree, Spruce

This is a special acoustic guitar. It is made specifically for guitarists who play classical guitar. In other words, the ergonomics of this guitar are the same as those of a classical guitar. The neck, although it has mother-of-pearl markings in the acoustic style, is the same size as a classical guitar. The same goes for string spacing. But I want to remind you that the thickness and shape of the neck of my guitars is very comfortable. In the future, I am considering installing a truss rod in such a guitar for complete control of all processes.

This guitar has another unique quality. On a guitar, you can adjust the height of the strings. It is very comfortable. The neck is firmly clamped, but if you unscrew the screw and move the special insert, the height of the strings changes. You can play the low string action with a boost in volume, or set them to classic heights for strong right-hand action.

Special words about wood from which this guitar is made. It is unique project. This is amur velvet tree. Its appearance is some like ash tree but only exterior. Physical characteristics are like spain cedar for guitar neck. So amur velvet tree is light. And guitar sound very good without any amplifier. You can hear it in the sound sample below.

Improved by me design of connection between the neck and body of acoustic guitars. Once the screw is clamped, the neck is stable and feels glued in place. The guitarist can easily adjust the height of the strings himself. The neck will not move anywhere.

This design not only enables precise adjustment of the height of the strings but also provides the convenience of fine-tuning over the years, ensuring the guitar's playability remains exceptional throughout its lifespan.
